Education system in Singapore is more analytical than methodical. The primary leveles which is for six years begins when the child completes its six years of age. Then they do their secondary either for four or five years, depending on one's ability. Then one can either go to polytechnich or to Junior College. After that, male citizens and second generation permanent residents have to serve the army which is called National Service, in view of the country's security. Then they go to the Universities.
National University of Singapore is among the list of World Class Universities. There are many Overseas Schools. Overseas degrees, which other countries universities offer can be obtained through the respective study centres.
