Easy Tomato Rice

 

Ingredients

 

Tomatoes – 6 (cut into pieces)

Onion       - 2

Coriander Leaves – a little chopped

Bay leaf     - 1

Rice (cook separately) -  1 Cup.

Turmeric powder –  ¼ tsp

Chilly powder – 1 tsp

Ginger and garlic paste – 1 tsp

Green chilly – 2 slit

Freid Cashew nuts - a few 


Preparation

 

Place the pan in the burner. Switch it on and pour the oil. Put the aniseed and bay leaf. Then add the onions and fry a little. Now add on the tomatoes and fry well. When the tomato skin gets removed off, add the powders, green chilly, ginger garlic paste, salt and mix well. Add on a little water and close it. When it is done, add the cooked rice, coriander leaves and stir well. Now add the fried cashew nuts to it. Tomato rice is ready.
